It's like a cross between Ghost Hunters and that conversation you had with the zit face over elves

So, false alarm people. Monte Cook did not announce 5th edition as I had screamed in the shower this morning, but instead he announced something much more terrifying.

Brothers and sisters: Geek Seekers. Because, you know, people who investigate the paranormal are not geeky and dorky enough already. But now we get even more unrelated geekiness and paranormal investigation as presented by Aeon Fucks and Indiana Moans.

Okay, seriously, what the fuck am I looking at? Have either of these two ever see an episode of Ghost Hunters? For the uninitiated, let me break it down for you.

So there are several boring parts where the group talks about the place they want to investigate. Then they go to the place. They set up the stuff. They wait for night. They hear things and work themselves into a scared frenzy. Then they break it all down and leave. Then they analyze the evidence. Then they conclude that they can't make any conclusive conclusions. But it may be haunted. Wooooooooooo! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MOTHER FUCKER!!!!!

Seriously, the series was fun for a while, but once you get the basic formula down, you open your laptop halfway through the show and start looking at xtube while buffing your sausage, and when you're done, hey another show is on. I imagine the experience will be like that, except that you can conveniently mute the Geek Seekers tab while you buff your sausage to xtube, and then when you're done, you can go back, watch a few more minutes, decide it's a waste of your time, and go back to Facebook.

How did they get the blonde chick? I mean, it's a web thing, right? Usually those don't have a lot of money. I wonder how much she makes. Did she demand a contractual bonus for having to work within 30 feet of a Dungeons & Dragons player? Does she get a kickback if he accidentily touches her in a platonic fashion? Oh now I'm just being hateful for no good reason.
